Warranty
Parts Warranty
All manufactured electrical parts (panels, breakers, meter bases, surge protectors, and related components) are covered for one (1) year from the date of final inspection. This covers manufacturer defects. If a part fails within one year due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace it at no additional charge for parts or labor.
After one year, parts are covered under the manufacturer's own warranty terms, which vary by product.
Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our installation work. If any issue arises that is directly attributable to the way the work was installed (loose connections, improper torque, incorrect wiring, or similar installation errors), we will return and correct it at no charge.
Workmanship Warranty Limitations
- This warranty covers the original installation work performed by Dunlap Electric Company LLC only.
- It does not cover issues caused by subsequent work performed by others, modifications to the electrical system by other contractors or the homeowner, or normal wear of manufactured components beyond the one-year parts warranty.
- It does not cover damage caused by external events including but not limited to lightning strikes, flooding, fire, acts of God, or utility company actions.
- This warranty applies to the original customer at the original service address. It is not transferable to subsequent property owners unless agreed to in writing.
- Dunlap Electric Company LLC reserves the right to inspect the installation before performing warranty work to confirm the issue is attributable to the original installation.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Call or text (303) 775-3221. Describe the issue. We will schedule an inspection and, if the issue falls under this warranty, correct it at no charge.
Estimates and Pricing
All estimates are provided free of charge after an on-site evaluation. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted. The price we quote is the price you pay.
A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due after the final inspection passes and power is restored.
Scope of Work
The specific scope of work, materials, and pricing for each project are documented in the written estimate provided before work begins. This terms page provides general warranty and service terms. In the event of a conflict between this page and a signed project estimate, the signed estimate governs.
